Apr 11, 2011: What is the most important message that we have to imbibe from the life of Lord Rama? Swami guides us today.
Be one a millionaire or a pauper, everyone takes refuge in the Divine Name in times of difficulties. Many sages in the past performed penance and undertook several kinds of vows to spread the glory of the Divine Name in this world. Lord Rama never told anybody to chant or contemplate on His Name. Rama, in fact, declared that all are embodiments of Divinity. The foremost teaching of Rama was that everyone should follow Truth. Rama practised truth all through His life and achieved unity in thought, word and deed. Hence, even to this day, people, young and old, chant the sacred name of Lord Rama with great devotion.

| 不论百万富翁或贫民，遇到困难时，每个人都会寻求神的庇佑。在过去，许多圣者进行苦修，发下许多愿，要向世界弘扬神（注︰亦即上帝的某一圣名）的荣耀与殊胜。上主罗摩从来没有告诉人家去唱诵或冥思祂自己的名号，事实上罗摩宣称众生都是神性的化身。罗摩的首要教诲是︰人人都应当依循真理，罗摩自己一生都奉行真理，做到身（行为）、口（语言）、意（心思）的一致，所以直到今天，人们不分老少，都虔诚的唱诵罗摩的圣名。 |
